Today on Windows Server Blog, Jeff Woolsey, Principal Program Manager on the Windows Server Team, announced a series of Sneak Peak on new features and updates which will be introduced with the next release of Windows Server 2016, “Windows Server, version 1709”.
In fact, “Windows Server, version 1709” is already on the starting block and Microsoft will be launching this new anniversary release at Microsoft Ignite September 25-29 in Orlando, Florida.
Many improvements have been made for developers, security, Software-defined datacenter and management so, if you want to know more, read the “Sneak Peek #1: Windows Server, version 1709” article here on the Microsoft Windows Server Blog.
Of course, the best way to discover all new features is to download the last Windows Server Insider Preview Build 16267 on Microsoft Connect as an Insider. If you have not yet registered as an Insider, you can register through the Windows Insiders for Business program or the Windows Insider program.
Tips: Note that currently access to the Windows Server Insider Preview download page does not work with an AAD account, so for the moment, it is necessary to use an MSA account until this issue is resolved.
Enjoy and discover the next version of Windows Server,
