About Me

My name is Jean-Francois (Jeff) Aprea, 12 times Microsoft MVP and today MVP 2018-2019 Cloud & Datacenter Management.

I work as a Senior Consultant and Architect on Microsoft Cloud Solutions at SPIE ICS, a certified Microsoft Gold Datacenter & HPE Gold Partner.

I’m focused on Microsoft Azure, System Center, Hybrid Clouds and lasted Microsoft Virtualization technologies including hyper-converged solutions based-on Hyper-V, Storage Spaces Direct, Networking and System Center.

At the very beginning, I was involved with Windows NT and Microsoft Infrastructures with MS LAN Manager and had contributed to train many customers and Microsoft France engineers.

Specialist on Windows Server OS, Hyper-V Virtualization, System Center VMM, Active Directory, strong authentication, SCCM and SCOM, Microsoft awarded me as “MCSE Charter Member”, “Early Achiever MCSE on Microsoft Windows 2000” and 12 times MVP on Active Directory and from the beginning on Hyper-V in the CDM – Cloud & Datacenter Management category.

I have participated in Windows Server Rapid Deployment Program with Microsoft in Redmond and the ETSI – European Telecommunications Standards Institute, based in Sophia Antipolis.

Since 1992, I was one of the very first MCT certified on Microsoft LAN Manager, Windows NT and Windows Server and work very closely with Microsoft France in the Marketing Group and Training Center located in France.

Certified on Azure “Architecting & Implementing Azure Solutions”, MCSE Cloud Platforme & Infrastructure, MCSA Cloud Platform and, MVP 2018-2019 Cloud and Datacenter Management, MCSE Private Cloud & Server Infrastructure and Windows Server Virtualization “Charter Member”, I wrote several books on Hyper-V, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Active Directory Domain Services.

Today, I live in Nice on the French Riviera, always work closely with Microsoft (as Microsoft P-Seller Cloud Solutions) and 5nine Software (as 5nine “Technical Evangelist”) and for many companies in the PACA region (Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur) since more than 25 years!
