Happy New Year from a renewed Microsoft MVP 2018-2019 Cloud and Datacenter Management

It’s January 2, 2018, on the French Riviera and I have just received a great news to start the New Year with. For another year, I am proud to announce that I got the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) 2018-2019 award in the category Cloud and Datacenter Management – after a few months passing via MVP Reconnect. This is now my 12th award, 3 on Windows Server Management Infrastructure and Directory Services and others on Hyper-V and Cloud and Datacenter Management.

Of course there are many people I have to say “Thank You” (all my colleagues at RDI now acquired by SPIE ICS, the Microsoft MVP community and of course Microsoft employees in Redmond). But my first thoughts are for my family – my wife Pascale and my 2 sons Pierre and Baptiste, because they know how much all these activities take me a lot of time.

I would also like to tell you that the Microsoft MVP Award is not only a huge honor for the community work done in the past year and a new book on Hyper-V 2016 and System Center VMM 2016.

It also adds a lot of benefits to my work, especially being able to join the Microsoft MVP Global Summit in Redmond, where we have the chance to meet the Microsoft Product Groups to work with Microsoft PM on new technologies, products and solutions. The ability to be part of a global community with Microsoft and other industry leaders is wonderful!

Of course, I’m looking forward to the MVP Summit in March 4-7, 2018 at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond and in Bellevue, but now it’s a good time to wish you All a Happy New Year in 2018 for you, your family, and loved ones everywhere.
